Gift Certificates

Selecting a companion animal is a personal decision and not one that someone else should make for you. If you want to give someone special a loving dog or cat, we offer Gift Certificates . The lucky recipient of the Gift Certificate will get to visit with our shelters as often as it takes them to fall in love with their new best friend.

You can even put the Gift Certificate inside a big box (with air holes of course). Then watch the excitement build as the lucky recipient begins to anticipate his or her new furry friend. You can come along with them and share the selection of the lucky companion .

Gift Certificates are available in a variety of amounts and can be used for dogs or cats. Adoption fees include vaccinations, spaying or neutering, and (for dogs) licensing. Certificates are valid for one year. To purchase a Gift Certificate, visit any of the City of Los Angeles' six Animal Care Shelters. (Shelters)
