We took 10 dogs and 5 cats. I am please to announce that all those animals didn't have to spend another day in a shelter facility. These babies were either adopted or rescued. Hip Hip Hurrah!!

Just stop for a second and think about the great work you do in saving defenseless living and breathing beings lives!! Ladies and gentlemen you are phenomenal human beings and I am proud to be your liaison;-)

Hello E.V volunteers, LAAS is offering a low cost vaccine clinic every last Tuesday of the month at the East Valley Animal Care Center. Dates Time *July 28,2009 4:30pm-6:30pm *August 25,2009 4:30pm-6:30pm *September 22,2009 4:30pm-6:30pm *October 27,2009 4:30pm-6:30pm *November 24,2009 4:30pm-6:30pm *December 22,2009 4:30pm-6:30pm Vaccine Cost Rabies -$6.00 DA2PP- $14.00 Bordatella- $11.00 Feline FVRCP- $14.00 *Please have all dogs on a leash & collar. *All cats must be in a carrier. *Please bring proof of sterility. *Please tell your family and friends!!!

Subject: November holidays

Hello WV volunteers,

Just a reminder that the holidays are among us and that means the shelter will be closed more days than usual.  There are three holidays this month that the shelter will be closed in observance. 

Weds. Nov. 11-Veteran's Day

Thurs. Nov. 26 and Fri. Nov. 27-Thanksgiving

Remember, volunteers can not work at the shelter on days or hours it is closed.  Enjoy the holiday and we will see you all back on Nov. 28 during normal business hours.
