LA Animal Services and The Pet Care Foundation Host My Furry Valentine Adoption Event

Los Angeles, February 16, 2018 – This Saturday and Sunday, February 17th and 18th, The Pet Care Foundation and L.A. Animal Services celebrate My Furry Valentine in conjunction with the 2018 Lunar New Year. All six of the city’s animal shelters will open their doors on Saturday and Sunday with free adoptions on all dogs and cats!

“It’s our goal to find a home for every pet that’s in the L.A. City Shelters,” said Bill Crowe, Director of the Foundation. He continued, “Now is the perfect time to find your new love!”

“We’re confident that your perfect match is waiting for you at one of our shelters. Join us in the celebration of My Furry Valentine and the Year of the Dog by welcoming a furry friend into your heart and home,” said Brenda Barnette, LA Animal Services General Manager.

While the dog adoption fees are waived, there will be a $20 dog license fee applied for LA City residents.L.A. Animal Services City shelters are filled to the brim with hundreds of amazing dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, colors, hair length and breeds. Our pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
