Thank you for your interest in making a donation to LA Animal Shelters. Your donation, large or small is gratefully accepted to help care for animals in LA City shelters, to help increase adoptions, and to help end animal cruelty. 

Gifts can be made online to the Animal Welfare Trust Fund, which is a trust account set up to enhance the quality of life for shelter animals by funding animal supplies, medical equipment and improvements to animal care centers.  Donations to the "Big Fix" (Spay/Neuter Trust Fund) help provide low cost spay/neutering services for pets in low-income households and funds our mobile spay/neuter clinics.   Two additional special funds that accept donations are the Foster Program, which trains volunteers to provide temporary homes for adult animals who need more time and for very young animals until they are old enough for adoption, and the STAR (Special Treatment and Recovery)   program which provides medical treatment to severely injured, abused, and neglected animals rescued by LA Animal Services. 

Donations made by mail or directly at an animal shelter can also be designated for use at one of the animal care shelters. 

 

Gifts "In Honor" or "In Memory" of a loved one or favorite pet

For the person who has everything, please consider a tax-deductible donation in their honor to help Los Angeles City shelter animals. Your gift will directly benefit orphaned and abandoned animals. We will send a special personalized acknowledgement to the person or guardian of the pet to tell the recipient about your very caring gift in their honor, and you'll receive a receipt for your donation.

Employee Matching: You may be able to Double Your Gift

Have your money go twice as far by getting a match from your company! You can help the animals by finding out if your company has a Corporate Giving Program or Foundation. Many companies match funds for volunteer hours or their employee donations.

You can find out if your company has an Employee Matching Program by asking your company's Human Resources Department as they should be able to provide you with the right form or information if the program exists.
