West Valley Animal Services Center Re-Opening Community Meetings

LA Animal Services recently hosted a series of virtual meetings to discuss an idea (Proposal) that was presented as part of the Department’s reconstitution plan for reopening of West Valley Animal Services Center after we received our budget and cuts due to COVID. Meetings were held with Staff, Volunteers, New Hope Partners, and the Community.

We are taking a very close look at the entire City (population, square miles, community needs and more), the feedback, comments and recommendations from the meetings held. The next step after we have collected and/or studied that material, will be to write a revised plan, and share it with the community for further input and suggestions.

We are committed to leading a collaborative process for any Los Angeles City Residents who want to help us develop the best plan possible within our limited resources due to COVID.
