The Lucy Pet Foundation Mobile Clinic offers free spay and neuter services for dogs and cats of qualified City of Los Angeles residents. They also offer low cost vaccines, licensing, deworming, microchipping and other services. The Sam Simon Foundation
The Sam Simon Foundation’s mobile veterinary clinic offers a variety of free surgeries for cats and dogs belonging to families that earn less than $40,000 per year. Aside from doing high-volume spays & neuters once a week, it also performs mass removals, amputations, bladder stone removals, eye removals, entropion repair, inguinal hernia repair, and more.For more information, including a list of surgeries that it does and doesn’t do, you may visit www.ssfmobileclinic.org.

SPAY4LA
The SPAY4LA mobile clinic operates in South Los Angeles and offers free spay & neuter service for cats and dogs of zip codes (90003, 90011, 90018, 90037, 90044, 90047, and 90062). The clinic operates by appointment only.

If you don’t live in one of the zip codes above but still live in South LA, you may still qualify for a free spay/neuter through the city voucher program. You must be a resident of the city of Los Angeles and participate in a low-income program.

Low-cost vaccines and microchips available to spayed and neutered pets.

Free Spay & Neuter Certificates (vouchers) and reduced fee Spay & Neuter Coupons are available for Los Angeles City residents. Each household is eligible for discounts for 3 dogs and 3 cats.The Free Spay & Neuter Certificate covers the full cost of a companion animal’s sterilization at participating veterinary hospitals, spay/neuter clinics and participating mobile spay/neuter vans. Feral cats and stray dogs do not qualify for this program.

The $30 discount voucher is available for any LA City resident as a discount coupon towards spay/neuter at participating veterinary hospitals, spay/neuter clinics and participating mobile spay/neuter vans.

If you do not receive the Dept. of Water & Power Lifeline Benefit, please use the following Dog Imagelink(s) English/Spanish to Low-Income Benefit Application for alternate qualifications and Spay/Neuter information.

Free surgeries are available through a mobile Neuter Van, which rotates throughout Los Angeles. Surgeries are scheduled in advance by appointment and are available to low-income households.

Spay/Neuter Clinics at our Animal Shelters
Our Animal Shelters have on-site spay/neuter clinics available to sterilize your newly-adopted companion animal or your current companion. Four of the clinics are open for business, and the Department hopes to open all clinics in the near future. The clinics are independently operated; please contact the clinic operator directly for questions about spaying or neutering your companion animal and related services.
