Urgent Need for Kitten Foster Volunteers
Become a kitten foster and save lives! LA Animal Services receives thousands of young kittens every year. The shelters ability to save many of these orphaned animals is directly dependent on the number of foster volunteers waiting to take these babies home to provide temporary foster care.
Fostering is a fun, temporary commitment that makes a huge lifesaving impact at our City shelters. This is a great way to be a big hero to a tiny soul. Foster kittens and help make L.A. a no-kill city!
Foster Volunteers are needed for:
- Momma cats with nursing kittens
- Unweaned kittens (bottle feeders)
- Young kittens eating on their own
Foster volunteers are the future of life-saving. If you are available for a couple of weeks or a month, please help orphaned kittens get the chance they need for a happy life.
In need donation items include:
- Food Scale (For weighing and tracking growth of our kittens!)
- Kitten Formula (KMR)
- Heating Pad
- Royal Canin BabyCat Dry Food
- Miracle Nipples
- Fleece & baby blankets
- Ceramic bowls for food & water
