{ "name":"Chargers Petpalooza Adoption Event", "description":"To showcase the animals at our Chesterfield Square/South LA shelter and to encourage the community to adopt or foster, LA Animal Services will be partnering with the Los Angeles Chargers for the Petpalooza Adoption Event happening on Saturday, December 7 from 9am to 4pm.Adoption fees will be waived for dogs and cats (adopted at the event and at any of our six City shelters on December 7th and 8th) thanks to a generous grant from Petco Love. The team from Dogs Playing for Life will be onsite throughout the day to run playgroups that will showcase the personalities of our adoptable dogs, and the Michelson Found Animals Foundation will be distributing free pet food to all attendees and will provide free dog tags, collars, and leashes while also registering microchips for pets adopted at the event.Please note: Shelter hours on Saturday, December 7 for East Valley, Harbor, North Central, West LA, and West Valley are 11am to 5pm.
