LA Animal Services Introduces Pet and Community Resource Guides to Help LA City Residents
01/28/2021

Los Angeles, January 28, 2021 – LA Animal Services has created the Pet Resource Guide and the Community Resource Guide to let Angelenos know of the available resources and programs available to LA City residents. The Pet Resource Guide provides information on programs and services available to pet owners and their furry family members; and the Community Resource Guide lists services and programs for the community from LA City-based organizations, from food distribution and housing resources to pet and people resources.

“With the ongoing challenges the community continues to face due to the pandemic, we wanted to create resource guides so that families with their pets would know where to go to get assistance related to caring for their pet, food distribution or housing,” said Brenda Barnette, General Manager for LA Animal Services.

The Pet Resource Guide provides information on different resources and services available through LA Animal Services, ranging from adopting or fostering through the department, resources on lost and found pets, and information on the monthly Zoom meetings.
