Los Angeles, February 1, 2023 – LA Animal Services would like to thank Petco Love for the $75,000 grant that supported our Pet Food Pantry, Star Program, Safety Net Foster Program, and our Spay/Neuter Voucher Program in 2022.

Petco Love is a national nonprofit leading change for pets by harnessing the power of love to make communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier. Since its founding in 1999, Petco Love has invested $330 million in adoption and other lifesaving efforts. And Petco Love helps find loving homes for pets in partnership with Petco and more than 4,000 organizations — like ours — across North America, with 6.5 million pets adopted and counting.

“Petco Love’s grant in 2022 that supported LA Animal Services programs' made a huge impact,” said Annette Ramirez, Interim General Manager for LA Animal Services. “This generous grant went towards our Pet Food Pantry, which helped keep pets and their families together, our Star Program which helped cover the costs of surgeries for injured animals that find their way to our centers, and also towards our Foster Program, shelter enrichment and our Spay/Neuter Voucher Program.”
